The Vatican Games

Vera is born on the day an apocalyptic revenge is unleashed, annihilating half of the world's population. Her birth marks the beginning of a new world order run by powerful gaming corporations. After global devastation, a warless existence and the elimination of poverty are finally secured, with models of control and technological prowess for the survival of humankind. Although technology becomes the saving power, with video games at the heart of society, restoring life to a frightened population, this fine balance becomes under threat. While the major video games corporations hold the control of the financial and political balance, Vera and her partner Galo have plans and aspirations that do not match those of a system designed for security and virtual leisure. Vera’s life will take an unexpected turn when she becomes involved in an incriminating investigation within the technological industry. As an expert gaming developer, Vera will be drawn into a daring and painful search to discover the truth. Vera is the female David to beat Goliath and prevent further devastation.
