Its success launched the ambitious, third-highest-grossing solo tour at the time, Wildest Dreams Tour, a 16-month run that carried Turner across five continents. By the time it concluded in August 1997, she had played 259 shows for more than 4.5 million fans, filling arenas and stadiums worldwide.
