Turkey, Egypt, and Syria: A Travelogue vividly captures the experiences of prominent Indian intellectual and scholar Shibli¯ Nu‘ma¯ni¯ (1857–1914) as he journeyed across the Ottoman Empire and Egypt in 1892.
