This album really showcases the enduring strength of her songs, which remain powerful in any form. The album was very positively received by fans and critics. It even got nominated for multiple Latin Grammy Awards (Album of the Year, Best Engineered Album) and Grammy Awards (Best Regional Mexican Music Album). Un Canto por México, Vol. 2 is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on crystal clear and black marbled vinyl and includes printed inner sleeves.
