His songs have made their mark on the history of Italian music and have toured the world, with over 80 million records sold and 8 billion global listeners to his credit.Three years after his most recent studio album, in October 2025 he announced the release of his new record Una Storia Importante / Una Historia Importante, out on November 21 in both Italian and Spanish versions, under Friends & Partners S.p.A. / Eventim Live International, distributed by Sony Music Entertainment. The new album features some of the most iconic hits of his career rearranged in a brand-new style, alongside unreleased tracks and prestigious Italian and international collaborations. Among the new songs are the single “Il mio giorno preferito” / “Mi día preferido” and the track “Buona Stella” (feat. ELISA), premiered live on stage during the World Tour Gala Première at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
