The name Sømmet means "the nail" – and just like a nail, it hits the nail on the head when it comes to big sea trout. This in-line wobbler is a real powerhouse and a favorite among dedicated sea trout fishermen in Scandinavia. Despite its simple appearance as a nail, in the water it transforms into a convincing imitation of a sandeel – one of the most important prey for sea trout hunting in shallow coastal waters. Rig tip: Thread the line through the bait and use a small round or oval bead to protect the knot before tying a single or treble hook of your choice. For a more free-moving hook, we recommend mounting the hook on an oval spring ring and tying the line to the double part of the ring.
