Wolf Of The Cosmos Vinyl

Recently, Bonnie "Prince" Billy (a.k.a. Will Oldham) released recordings paying tribute to Merle Haggard and the Mekons. On this new album, his year of cover songs continues via his interpretation of Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanna's 2007 album "Sonata Mix Dwarf Cosmos." This is a transfixing listen (on CD or vinyl), as Oldham and the musicians he brought in for the project attempt to penetrate the mysteries of what he calls "scary, sweet, comforting and disruptive" songs: "Intruder," "Born in the Desert," "People Living," "Demon Dance" and more!
