ComputerSupported Qualitative Research Methods and AI New Trends in Qualitative Research (WCQR2026)

This volume explores the methodological and technological transformations reshaping qualitative research through Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Large Language Models, and computer-supported research methods. Bringing together contributions from diverse disciplines, it offers insights into how researchers integrate emerging technologies while maintaining the interpretive, reflexive, and human-centred foundations of qualitative inquiry. Combining theoretical reflection with practical applications, it highlights new approaches to conducting, analysing, and supporting qualitative research. Intended for researchers, educators, students, and practitioners, the volume serves as a resource for understanding current developments and future directions in qualitative research. The chapters are drawn from contributions accepted at the World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR) 2026.
