STORMKEEPER HB

Don't miss the sensational epic fantasy debut from sizzling new talent Jacinta Tomás, filled with vicious betrayal, forbidden magic, and devastating power. Across drought-ridden Khandaar, crops fail, people starve, and unrest stirs. Under the cloak of night, farmhand Avila Santos uses forbidden magic known as rujeria to water the fields her town depends on. When palace sorcerer Alessandro catches her, she is forced to choose: face the agonizing and often fatal process of being stripped of her magic, or use her rare gift to serve the palace as a hydromancer. Yet life at court is no less vicious. With the king dead and the princess not yet of age, royals, chancellors, and the church wrest for control. As dissent sparks inside the palace; rebellion ignites outside. And fire catches quickly in drought. But whispers of an ancient prophecy begin to follow Avila, foretelling the coming of a tempestuous figure: the keeper of storms, the maker of paths, the kingdom's saviour … or destroyer.
