<p>In <strong><em>That's Brutal, What's Modern: The Smithsons, Banham, and the Mies-Image</em></strong>, Mark Linder offers a new understanding of New Brutalism as a consequential, generative, and still pertinent episode in the history of imaging practices in architecture.
