The Afterall

<p>The Afterlife exists, but not as you know it. There are no pearly gates, no weighing of hearts, no rivers to be crossed – just a mundane office, a clerk, and <em>a lot</em> of paperwork. The green stamp lets you through the door behind the desk, and the red stamp… well, you don’t want to know what the red stamp does.</p><p>You would think that this should suit Brian Brown, but it doesn’t. Because there has been a mistake.</p><p>Brian Brown isn’t dead. Not quite. And now he is <em>very</em> late for work…</p><p>As he battles valiantly to complete his commute, Brian must navigate the whims of a petulant God, grapple with the necessity of Death – who insists he is just doing his job – and fathom the nature of Time; an overworked matron who is tired of it all.</p>
