Whickering Place

A gothic paranormal thriller about an agoraphobic heiress, an inherited mansion, and the cult that wants it back. Atmospheric supernatural suspense threaded with forbidden attraction, ritual history, and a heroine fighting her way out of fear. The House Chose Her. So Did The Colony. A violent attack nearly a decade ago has left Avery Tullinger barely able to walk outside. Following her estranged father's death, she inherits Whickering Place, a historic mansion in Asheville, North Carolina, currently occupied by two tenants: Colin Gallagher, a young doctor, and his mysterious brother, Pearse. Soon after moving in, Avery learns that her father's life in the house was consumed by the supernatural. And the activity appears to be starting again. As paranormal events within the house escalate, so does Avery's attraction to Pearse, even though Colin warns her that his younger brother belongs to a cult called The Colony. Whickering Place is becoming the focal point of The Colony's bloody rituals, and the house's history is threatening to repeat itself. Avery could lose the house, her heart, and even her life. What she does next will decide which.
